Step 1: Prepare Your Back Seat

• Connect the 3 rigid panels using the interlocking system
• Place assembled platform across your back seat
• The platform should bridge the gap between seat and footwell

Step 3: Secure with Headrest Straps

• Loop the 4 adjustable straps around your headrest posts
• Tighten straps gradually until platform feels secure (avoid over-tightening)
• Test stability: platform should not move when you press down firmly

Step 4: Install Seat Anchors

• Insert the 2 anchor clips into the seat crevice (where seat cushion meets backrest)
• Attach the cover's anchor points to these clips
• This prevents forward sliding during sudden stops

Step 5: Final Safety Check

• Press down on different areas - entire platform should feel solid
• Ensure cover edges don't block seat belt access
• Verify doors close properly with side panels positioned
• Check that passenger seats remain fully functional

• Medium strap tension typically works best
• Side panels may need slight tucking for perfect fit

Solution: Place familiar blanket or bedding on platform initially. Use positive reinforcement with treats when they step onto FluffGuard. Allow 2-3 short trips for full acceptance - this is completely normal.

"Side panels interfere with door closing"

Solution: Side panels are designed to be flexible - adjust positioning by tucking edges slightly. Different vehicle door designs may require minor positioning changes.

"Straps don't seem long enough"
